Dear Energy Efficiency Indicator South Africa Partners,
Thank you very much again for responding to  our survey of energy management decision makers in South Africa.  We had 77 responses in South Africa.

We have included those responses in the global results of the survey.  If you didn't have a chance to take a look earlier, you can find those global results here.

We finalized the analysis of the South Africa specific numbers, resulting in a factsheet and a power point slide deck specific to South Africa.

Macdonald & Company are launching the 3rd edition of their annual Salary, Rewards and Benefits Survey and would like your assistance to ensure that the findings are a fair representation of the state of the market. The survey is a confidential set of on-line questions which probe such information as the sex, race, location, education, salary, benefits and company size of respondents from the property industry.

The findings of this survey assist in providing career advice and salary benchmarking to property professionals and employers in South Africa. Clearly, the greater the response received, the more accurate the findings will be. To take part in this survey, and stand a chance of winning one of 3 weekends away for two, click here.

Workplace Strategies Around the World

The IFMA Foundation will be launching a book about “Workplace Strategies Around the World” at World Workplace in October in Phoenix.  This book provides practical tools to help Facility Managers from around the globe, in large, mid-size and small organizations lead change in the workplace, both strategically and tactically.

The book examines forces driving change in the office and prepares Facility Managers for the evolving nature of work and the workplace of the future.  Sustainability is a “way of life” for most companies.  With the emphasis on the triple bottom line -- people, planet and profit -- becoming more popular, this topic is woven throughout the book and addressed in case studies from around the world.

If you are interested in submitting a case study for potential inclusion in the book or know someone who is, please complete the attached template and submit to Kim who will forward it to IFMA.
