Macdonald & Company are launching the 3rd edition of their annual Salary, Rewards and Benefits Survey and would like your assistance to ensure that the findings are a fair representation of the state of the market. The survey is a confidential set of on-line questions which probe such information as the sex, race, location, education, salary, benefits and company size of respondents from the property industry.
The findings of this survey assist in providing career advice and salary benchmarking to property professionals and employers in South Africa. Clearly, the greater the response received, the more accurate the findings will be. To take part in this survey, and stand a chance of winning one of 3 weekends away for two, click here.
Workplace Strategies Around the World
The IFMA Foundation will be launching a book about “Workplace Strategies Around the World” at World Workplace in October in Phoenix. This book provides practical tools to help Facility Managers from around the globe, in large, mid-size and small organizations lead change in the workplace, both strategically and tactically.
The book examines forces driving change in the office and prepares Facility Managers for the evolving nature of work and the workplace of the future. Sustainability is a “way of life” for most companies. With the emphasis on the triple bottom line -- people, planet and profit -- becoming more popular, this topic is woven throughout the book and addressed in case studies from around the world.
If you are interested in submitting a case study for potential inclusion in the book or know someone who is, please complete the attached template and submit to Kim who will forward it to IFMA.
We are reaching to you, facility managers from around the world, to get a truly international perspective on sustainable facility rating systems as we update the IFMA Foundation's "Sustainability How-to Guide: Green Building Rating Systems." Your input will enable us to detail how the systems differ, cost variances, information about how certifications have been obtained and operational costs have been reduced.
The information requested should be focused on real experiences with green building rating systems and obtaining certifications. Through this survey we hope to answer many of the questions that facility managers have voiced to us and incorporate them in this publication. The guide will also provide case studies that will highlight selected green rating systems.
Please see the following link for the survey https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/TF6Q3XV
The survey closes at the end of June.
The authors and the IFMA Foundation thank you in advance for your time and participation in this exciting initiative.
